Reflecting on the A - Z challenge
If you missed my daily April posts, they were about music. Not just any music posts however, I tried to write about stuff that not many people know about.
This was my first A to Z challenge and I must admit, I was a little bit intimidated. Not because I don't think that my writing does not stack up, but because a lot of the bloggers who participated are what I call "big time," with hundreds of followers, dozens of comments on each post, and blogs that look like professional websites.
However, I was pleased to note that two of the co-hosts stopped by and even the top bird, Arlee, made time to leave a comment. I highly appreciate everyone who took the time to read, comment, or even follow me. I tried to return the favor to all. I only was unable to return two or three comments/follows because the site would not load up with my connection or I could not find it. I also thought it's interesting that most bloggers are female, even though the host and one of my regular co-host readers are male.
As you can see, I am a statistics nerd, so decided to also do a quick summary of what posts were popular. I promoted each post equally with two tweets on the day of posting (with different hash tags hours apart) and once via Facebook.
Most Page Views:
D is for Deep Purple
V is for Venrez
Y is for Yoko Ono
B is for Beatles
T is for Triumph
Most Promoted by Readers
X is for X by Ten
T is for Triumph
U is for Uriah Heep
C is for Captain Beyond
Most Feedback:
B is for Beatles
Y is for Yoko Ono
Last, but not least, a special thank you to my boyfriend Tom who contributed the S and Y entries and for being such a loyal reader of all my stuff, even before he really knew me.

Let's hear it for Triumph!
You had a fun theme. That and I'm a rock music junkie.
Glad you enjoyed the Challenge.
Alex, I really enjoyed reading your stuff, you had the alphabet well covered with excellent material! I, too, did not comment on everything I read on every site, it was impossible time-wise. Great stuff though--and rest assured---your stuff is very professional! ":) ~R

Alex, congratulations on completing the A - Z challenge.
Your blog is simple and appears professional too.
You did a fab job! I learned a lot from your A to Z. The hosts were really great. I am looking forward to next year already!
Red.
PS I am not taking my readers suggestion that I A to Z every month!
Congratulations on completing the A-Z Challenge, Alexandria!
