A to Z Challenge: G is for Gnomes

I love gnomes, so when I started coloring a while ago, I was looking for a gnome coloring book. I found several, but they were all self-published by the same illustrator, Chroma Tomes. Having been burnt before with self-published coloring books, I decided to wait.

Also, I have to be very frugal. I have seen people post about buying a dozen coloring books per week, but I can't do that. Every purchase I make takes weeks to decide on usually, if not longer. Plus, since you really only can color so many books in a life time, I need to be sure the book is what I want.

Anyway, I started following the illustrators' Facebook page to check them out and noticed that they were doing regular giveaways. After about a year, my patience paid off and I won one of the gnome books called the Whimsical Garden Gnomes. I absolutely love it, so now I can recommend them. Check out their Facebook Page. They don't just have gnomes, they have some other books too. Give them some love! (and money, if you can). I colored the picture below.

I have a thing for gnomes, too. I was about choosing this word for the letter G, but then the postcard of the Colosseum arrived and I changed my mind. It's nice to see the result of your colouring hobby.
