Whole Foods Study September 27

Only two more days (including today) and you won't have to read about my whole foods posts anymore :-) In case you don't know yet, this is part of a private study I am participating in for a friend.

Did you know that eggs, despite their bad reputation, are actually a whole food? Much has been said and written about cage free, organic, free-range and how misleading these labels can be. I can't sort that all out either, but I did check out the manufacturer of the eggs we buy online (Phil's in Illinois) and it seems better than most. The best would be to get eggs from someone who raises chickens in the neighborhood, but that kind of lifestyle is disappearing rapidly.

Well, I mentioned eggs because we had them for breakfast. For dinner we had wild-caught mahi mahi, sauteed zucchini, and a side salad.

Anyway, to get the skinny on the nutritional value of eggs and the wild caught fish vs farm-raised, read the full post.
