Spring Has Sprung

Shades of yellow, pink, blue and green

Take over what's been white, brown and in between

Daffodils and daisies blossom in competition

Irises, lilies, and tulips are budding to fruition

Bluebirds, finches and robins cavort in the breeze

Butterflies and ladybugs flit by with ease

Bees studiously pollinate while larks circle high

Seedlings and saplings stretch towards the sky

Flora in the meadows and fauna by the streams

All flourish differently, yet united, it seems

Proclaim that spring has sprung to start anew

The circle of life among fresh morning dew.
