While doing some research, I came across poems called Sedokas. These are non rhyming sets of lines with 5,7,7 and 5,7,7 syllables. So, I tried my hand at one.
Each is made of dust
time will win out every time
drying the oceans of life.
Truths severed from lies
stardust evaporating
no separation from death.
