I was super excited. My mother let me cut around the stamps, but what was thrown away after that, was the best. They had saved all letters written to them and what I wouldn't give today to have them. Stamps are like miniature pieces of art. I still have envelopes around my house of stamps I've saved off letters, just hate to throw them away.
